Wheatpasting Weekends

May 2, 2010 § Leave a comment

It was a beautiful weekend and what better way to spend it then to put up a bunch of inspirational posters? For those of you who have been keeping up to date with my blog here, you’ve probably seen this “See the world without going anywhere. READ” print. I got so much good feedback from this poster and I thought why not make this thing 4 feet? haha so I did.  There are a few scattered around the city so if you’re in Philadelphia try to find em. I also got to see a new Shepard Fariey piece in Northern Liberties which was so cool. I think it’s awesome that he is still out there putting stuff up, some kids already did the deed to it and tagged over it but, it happens. While doing this I noticed that sometimes things don’t work out the way you plan, but it works out in the end. Just think about it like this nothing is easy, especially now when everyone is struggling to keep their heads up, you gotta get out there and make a change by yourself. No one is going to ask you to do it, no one is going to push you to do anything either, so this is me being the one guy that wants to see you get out there and do something, whether it’s read a good book, or make a cool poster, or write down a poem or something, just anything at all. Just get out and do something. Thanks to everyone that came out and helped I wouldn’t be able to do ANYTHING without you, no lie.
